 Master of Computer Application
(Five year full-time integrated course for 10+2 passed students)
MCA (Integrated) is an on-campus five-year full-time course designed to prepare aspiring students for a bright career as software professionals after 10+2.
The course comprises ten semesters (two semesters in each academic year). After successful completion of five years, a “Master of Computer Application” degree is awarded to the student.
The major objectives of this course are::-
• To impart in-depth knowledge of concepts, tools & techniques of computer science and their application in live situations.
• To prepare students to acquire responsible positions in IT and allied industries and also help them to start their own ventures in software or web development.
• To develop functional, technical and general computing skills and also soft skills like leadership and communication skills for holistic development of personality.
• To train the students to design and develop systems for the management of resources of the organization.
• To stimulate and inculcate the thinking process and inquisitiveness among the students to face the challenges of Indian and global market.
Admission Procedure:-
The eligibility criteria for admission to MCA (Integrated) is —
“Passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects plus having minimum 45% (40 % for SC/ST) marks in aggregate”.
